Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Illinois is seeking a Team Member for the Whole Body department. You will provide courteous, friendly customer service, assist with displays, and ensure store standards are met.

No retail experience is required; the role includes lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and participation in store programs. You will follow procedures and support health and safety regulations while delivering quality service.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper product rotation.
• Log, process, and retrieve customer special orders.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Follow department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking of product.
• May assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing all learning checklists and training materials.
• Support national, regional and store programs.
• Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and model suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
• Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
