Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, a leading distributor, seeks Installation Associates to deliver, install, and remove a wide range of appliances in commercial and residential settings. The role offers paid training, a family-friendly culture, and multiple career paths.

You will perform basic and custom appliance installations, handle gas/electric appliances, and ensure proper functioning. Training and overtime are available, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Appliance Delivery & Installation Service is preferred.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to lift 70+ pounds frequently and 90+ pounds occasionally with assistance of lifting equipment.
• Ability to deliver “white glove service” to customers.
• Excellent customer service skills are a must!
• Mechanical skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform basic appliance installation and learn custom appliance installations - training provided.
• Accurate handling and installation of basic gas and electric household appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators.
• Ensures installed appliances are damage-free, installed per manufacturer specs, and fully functioning.
• Interact professionally with builders, designers and on-site customers.
• Attend company paid installation training seminars and certifications to stay up-to-date on product changes.
• Be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities.
