Job summary

Wabashvalleyeggs is seeking a Production Technician for day and night shifts (2-3-2) with every other weekend off. You will perform pre-operational inspections, monitor fermentation and cooling, and uphold GMPs and safety procedures in the facility.

Responsibilities include recording logs, monitoring CCPs, conducting basic tests (pH, moisture), and serving as back-up on other shifts while maintaining clean, sanitary operations and timely attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Reliable and punctual attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment and production areas during weekly start up.
• Monitor fermentation process and cooling over to holding tanks.
• Monitor critical control points (CCP) as required.
• Record all relevant logs and documentation accurately.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures in the facility.
• Perform basic tests such as pH and moisture analysis.
• Serve as back-up to other shifts as needed.

• Perform basic physical tests such as pH and moisture analysis.
• Serve as back-up to other shifts as needed

Primary Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in working in food manufacturing is a plus.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a sanitary manner to prevent cross-contamination.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Demonstrate consistent and punctual attendance at work.
