Job summary

AppleOne is seeking an experienced Whey Plant Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Hanford, CA. This hands-on leadership role focuses on dairy processing, whey production, and production supervision in a fast-paced facility.

You will lead daily operations, support food safety and quality standards, coach employees, and drive safety, efficiency, and yield while maintaining a team-focused culture and clear accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years supervisory experience in dairy/food manufacturing.
• Experience supervising whey production or dairy processing preferred.
• Strong GMP and food safety knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervise whey production activities and staff to meet daily goals.
• Coach and develop production employees; manage scheduling and attendance.
• Monitor yield, efficiency, downtime, and quality metrics.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety and food safety standards.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Sanitation to resolve issues.
• Lead continuous improvement and root-cause investigations.
