Job summary

Tillamook County Creamery Association is seeking a Whey Packaging Tech Operator to ensure the whey bagging process meets our high quality standards. You will operate, monitor, and maintain powder storage bins, transfer lines, and bagging equipment while collecting samples and escalating any quality risks to the shift supervisor.

This role requires strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, safety rules, and sanitation schedules.

Qualifications

• Must follow GMP, HACCP, and safety rules to protect product quality and worker safety.
• As part of daily operations, maintain cleanliness and sanitation per Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Record keeping and compliance with company operating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain powder storage bins, transfer lines, and hoppers, bulk bagging, metal detection equipment.
• Collect samples of product for performance analysis.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, safety rules and other company operating requirements.
• Clean and sanitize systems per Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Perform routine maintenance on the bagging system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues during operation.
• Maintain accurate records and keep bagging areas safe and sanitary.

What you will do:

The Whey Packaging Tech Operator will be responsible for ensuring that the steps for producing a product that meets TCCA's high standard of quality are taken and notifying the shift supervisor when issues arise that would jeopardize that quality. The WheyPackaging Tech is responsible for the understanding and operation of the whey bagging equipment.

• Collect samples of prod uct for performance analysis.
