Job summary

Tillamook County Creamery Association is seeking a Whey Packaging Tech Operator in Oregon to ensure product quality and operate whey bagging equipment. The role requires monitoring packaging lines, maintaining equipment, and following GMP/HACCP safety standards on a daily basis.

You will collect product samples, maintain accurate records, and perform routine maintenance while adhering to sanitation schedules.

• Operate, monitor, and maintain powder storage bins, transfer lines and hoppers, bulk bagging equipment, metal detection equipment, ink jets, palletizer and stretch wrapping equipment.
• Collect samples of product for performance analysis.
• Must comply with GMP, HACCP, Safety rules and other company operating requirements.
• Clean and sanitize systems while following Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Perform routine maintenance on the bagging system.
• Troubleshoot and solve any processing problems during operation.
• Ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
• Maintain the bagging areas in a safe, sanitary, and efficient working order.

What you will do:

The Whey Packaging Tech Operator will be responsible for ensuring that the steps for producing a product that meets TCCA's high standard of quality are taken and notifying the shift supervisor when issues arise that would jeopardize that quality. The WheyPackaging Tech is responsible for the understanding and operation of the whey bagging equipment.
