Job summary

Leprino Foods Company in Lemoore, CA, is seeking a Whey Maintenance Group Lead to oversee the crew performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor with weekly plan execution and coordinate safe, efficient maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, welding and fabrication skills, ability to read blueprints and P&ID drawings, and strong safety awareness to uphold GMP standards in a dairy

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong commitment to safety and GMP knowledge.
• Must be able to fulfill physical functional requirements of position per ADA.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the crew per SOPs.
• Ensure weekly plan execution with 80% planned work completion.
• Perform daily pass downs with clarity and accuracy.
• Maintain safety by following PPE, Red Tags, Hot Work permits and SOPs.
• Pre-plan work with production team and oversee equipment availability.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with backlog management and meetings.
• Track repairs and disposition; communicate major changes.
