Wheelchair Van Driver

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! FULL-TIME WHEELCHAIR VAN DRIVER OPPORTUNITY

$15.61 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE!

We’re hiring Wheelchair Van Drivers who will respond to emergency and/or non-emergency requests for transportation needs and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to operation and dispatch requests, using necessary tools, maps, and addresses to transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
2. Document trip information clearly and adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
3. Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete mechanical checklists at the start of shifts, and report vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager.
4. Use appropriate communication methods, including standard radio transmission codes, to respond effectively and route patients, complying with information security standards.
5. Operate transportation equipment including stretchers, hydraulic lifts, and wheelchairs, and manage the disposal of supplies as necessary.
6. Work collaboratively and professionally with health and safety personnel, fellow drivers, and the operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

1. State Driver’s License
2. High school diploma or GED
3. CPR certification
4. Driving record in compliance with company policies
5. Pass Physical Agility Test
6. Some healthcare work experience preferred
