Job summary

Duke Family Transportation is seeking caring, dependable drivers to join our wheelchair transportation team in Georgia. You will transport clients to medical appointments and other essential destinations in ADA-compliant vans, providing door-to-door assistance with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia driver's license (Class C) in good standing.
• Clean driving record for the last 3 years (no DUIs, reckless driving, or at-fault accidents).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with wheelchair transfers.
• CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Safely operate ADA-compliant wheelchair-accessible vans.
• Assist clients with boarding, securement, and exiting the vehicle.
• Operate hydraulic ramps and follow wheelchair securement protocols.
• Provide door-to-door assistance with compassion and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and communicate with dispatch.
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and in good working order.
