Job summary

Prospect Airport Services is seeking a Performance Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective airport operations. The Duty Manager will oversee and coordinate team activities to deliver reliable service at the station.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coaching and mentoring, assisting with recruiting and payroll, and monitoring performance and safety. This full-time role requires hours flexibility, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, 18+ years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials as per airport/state requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Two years of relevant aviation/ground handling experience preferred.

• Coaches, counsels and mentors employees, including disciplinary action as needed.
• Assists in recruiting, payroll, scheduling, and general admin duties.

Job Summary

The Performance Manager is responsible for ensuring the daily airport operation runs in a safe, efficient, and cost‑effective manner. The Duty Manager will oversee and coordinate team activities to create a safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operation.

Job Duties

• Supervises and coordinates team activities related to the operation.
• Coaches, counsels and mentors employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required.
• Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.
• Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station.
• Promotes team‑building initiatives to develop and motivate team members.
• Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Prospect policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.
• Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti‑Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 70 lbs and move up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally.

Working Conditions

Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.

You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment.

Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow). May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods.
