Job summary

Prospect Airport Services is seeking a supervisor to lead a team of passenger assistance agents and manage daily shift operations at our Columbus location. You will coordinate schedules, training, and payroll tasks while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Please note that this role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain necessary credentials for airport/state requirements. Prior aviation/ground handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid Driving License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Preferred: one year of relevant work experience in aviation or ground handling services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team of leads and agents in passenger assistance duties.
• Manage shift schedules including workstation assignments, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, and rotations.
• Communicate with the manager regarding problems or issues.
• Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
• Assist in payroll administration and related paperwork.
• Monitor safety and enforce policies in line with regulations and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed within role capabilities.

Job Summary

Responsible for supervising agents to their assigned shifts to ensure the daily activities are performed safely and efficiently. Manage dispatching agents and applicable equipment to their arriving and departing flights, planes, and assignments.

Job Duties

• Supervise team of leads and agents in passenger assistance duties.
• Responsible for shift schedule to include workstation assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
• Communicate with the manager concerning any problems or issues.
• Schedules and conducts shift meetings.
• Assists in the administration of payroll; completes shift paperwork and performs other administrative functions.
• Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.
• Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Preferred Qualification

Physical requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift, move up to 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions

• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
