Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Chillicothe, OH is seeking a Wheel Chock Assembler to operate pneumatic and handheld tools safely, disassemble defective parts, reassemble with replacement components, and inspect and test products before packaging.

You will join a team, lift up to 50 lbs, follow quality instructions, read production schedules, and maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety rules and working rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or 2 years of related experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and follow quality process/work instructions.
• Must follow all safety rules and wear PPE.
• Ability to read production schedules and maintenance instructions.
• Clear communication with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe operations using pneumatic and handheld tools.
• Identify defects and disassemble defective items.
• Reassemble products with replacement parts.
• Inspect and test products before packaging and labeling.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
