Manager WFM & Analytics
Operational Excellence
Role and Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert in analytical methodologies such as regression, decision trees, time series analysis, forecasting, and econometric modeling.
- Provide strategic recommendations to meet Service Level and utilization targets.
- Manage core workforce functions including trend analysis, staffing and hiring planning, employee scheduling, and real-time management.
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling to derive insights for strategic decisions and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decisions.
- Coordinate data insight initiatives, managing analysts and collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry news and trends.
- Monitor system and performance issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a data-driven decision-making culture within the organization.
Leadership/Team Management:
- Foster transparency and enthusiasm for the company's vision and mission.
- Manage a diverse team responsible for WFM & Analytics functions.
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve high performance.
- Assist team members in skill development through feedback, coaching, and learning opportunities.
- Remove impediments to team success.
- Create an engaging work environment encouraging responsibility and support.
- Support team growth through feedback and resource allocation.
- Make informed decisions on employment matters, including probation and disciplinary actions.
- Encourage proactive improvement ideas and issue reporting from the team.
Skills Required:
- Align scheduling strategies with department and business needs.
- Deep understanding of long-term resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Proven experience as an analytics manager or similar role.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills; industry experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have:
Background in market research and project management.
- Knowledge of Excel, R, SQL, and familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or SAS.
- Experience with big data tools such as Teradata, Aster, Hadoop, etc.
