Job summary

CORRE, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Specialist to conduct field investigations and prepare environmental documentation in Wisconsin. The role supports transportation projects with wetland delineations, regulatory coordination, and data analysis.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field, experience with ArcGIS, and ability to travel within Wisconsin. A hybrid work environment and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science or related field.
Wisconsin DNR Wetland Delineation Professional Assurance status.
Experience with wetland delineations and associated documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform environmental field investigations for transportation and infrastructure projects, including wetland delineations and ecological assessments.
Prepare environmental documentation, technical memoranda, and permit applications.
Coordinate with clients, design teams, and regulatory agencies to support compliance and approvals.
Read roadway and bridge plans and interpret mapping to support environmental evaluations.
Conduct field data collection using GPS/GNSS and maintain accurate project records.
Communicate findings clearly to clients, agencies, and project teams.
