Job summary

Kinsley Construction in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator to join our field crew. You will operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders and support trucks on streams and wetlands restoration projects, following plans and site specifications.

This safety-sensitive role requires 1–2 years of operating experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel. You must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather and be self-motivated and team-oriented.

Qualifications

• Reading construction plans and following specifications.
• 1–2 years of relevant operating experience.
• Must be able to work out of town (Mon–Fri).
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read plans and follow construction specifications.
• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Install stream and wetland stabilization structures and site erosion controls.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
