Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure in Salt Lake City is hiring for a concrete precast production role. You will set up steel forms, read blueprints, and pour concrete into molds to meet daily production standards.

The position requires basic math, ability to read tape measures, use hand and power tools, and operate forklifts and other heavy equipment. A high school diploma or GED is required with a team-focused attitude and reliable attendance.

ABOUT THE JOB

To produce a wide variety of pre cast products daily to established standards and quality specifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Setting up steel forms including cutting and tying rebar/steel mesh caging and pouring concrete into molds
  • Read blue prints and CAD drawings
  • Rework and patch product
  • Operating heavy duty industrial equipment including forklifts
  • General housekeeping
  • Be a team player and willing to help out as needed and requested
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
  • Must understand basic math skills, read and apply tape measure, use of various power tools
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Past experience working with hand tools, saws, air tools, grinders is preferred, not required
  • Experience working with concrete would be preferred, not required
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
  • Close Supervision: The incumbent is assigned duties according to specified procedures and receives detailed instructions. Work is checked frequently

Medium work
