Job summary

Muller, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Excavation Technician to support trenching for water, sewer, and storm systems at project sites. You will operate large excavators, install trench boxes, and ensure safe, compliant procedures on site.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, training crew members, and contributing to quality control and production while adhering to Muller's safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate directly with clients.
• 1 year of experience or more with wet utility.
• Must be able to operate large excavators with precision.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer.
• Installs trench boxes as necessary.
• Operates equipment in compliance with safety policies and OSHA procedures.
• Ensure proper excavation and compaction procedures are performed.
• Maintain equipment with daily inspections and grease as required.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities.
• Perform other related duties to complete the job.
• Manage quality control and production.
• Train team members in a hands-on manner.
