Job summary

Iron Oak Energy Solutions seeks a Wet Plant Operator at the Bigfoot Plant in Poteet, TX. You will operate wet plant equipment, monitor processing rates, perform pre-shift inspections, and follow safety practices to ensure uninterrupted product flow.

The role requires hands-on operation, basic maintenance, and effective communication with the team. Candidates must be ready to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to complete written documentation or records.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical equations and use hand tools and measuring tools.
• Basic maintenance skills to inspect equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Previous sand plant or oilfield experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre-shift inspections and JSAs and interfaces with relief operator for updates.
• Operates wet plant equipment and related computer systems; reports malfunctions.
• Monitors processing rate and reports production data.
• Performs basic maintenance on wet plant equipment.
• Troubleshoots changes in processing rate and escalates as needed.
• Assists with plant housekeeping and waste sand management.
