Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Wet Mechanical Systems Operations Engineer for the NY expansion project. You will oversee design, construction, and commissioning of wet mechanical systems to ensure compliance and operational readiness.

Responsibilities include QA, coordinating with external partners, and transitioning to sustaining engineering post-commissioning. Candidates with 8+ years in wet mechanical systems are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in wet mechanical systems engineering (plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, process piping).
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1, UPC, IPC, ASHRAE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party design and construction of wet mechanical systems.
• Validate engineering deliverables (P&IDs, specs, layouts) for compliance.
• Coordinate with design firms, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead QA, risk assessment, and commissioning activities for system readiness.
