Job summary

Alkegen seeks a Helper - Wet Machine (Stacker) to support wet-lap removal and stacking from the machine roll, strictly following SOPs and safety rules.

Responsibilities include straight stacking, defect reporting for re-use, and assisting in set-ups, wash-ups and minor maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure top quality start-ups.

Pay ranges from $19.83 to $24.01 per hour; rotating shifts and papermaking/manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in papermaking or manufacturing preferred.
• Able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Remove and stack wet laps from the Wet Machine roll while maintaining straight, undamaged stacks.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety rules at all times.
• Identify and report defects for re-use and coordinate with the Machine Tender.
• Assist in set-ups, wash-ups and minor maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure quality start-ups.
