Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Wet Lab Technician in California to perform chemical analyses for plating processes, operate lab instruments, and maintain accurate records. The role requires strict safety practices and participation in chemical handling training.

The position supports engineers and plating managers, ensuring proper chemical additions, bath make-ups, and compliant documentation while upholding a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• English reading/writing/communication sufficient to perform the job.
• Ability to handle chemicals and equipment safely.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lab analysis and special tests of chemicals used in the wet process areas.
• Accurately report chemical analysis and tests to Plating Managers and Process Engineers.
• Make all chemical additions and bath make-ups.
• Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.
• Keep accurate up-to-date records regarding current baths on production floor.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on lab equipment, chemical controllers, pumps, and other lab-related equipment.
• Interacts with vendors and visitors.
• Perform lab inventory and identify chemicals and equipment needed to order.
• Assist in writing departmental instructions and procedures.
• Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals.
• Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace.
• Use all required Personal Protective Equipment.
