Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Process Technician for Wet Etch on a B2 swing shift (Wed/Thu/Fri and alternate Sat 12pm–12am).

You will evaluate and monitor wafer fabrication operations, investigate issues, and follow established procedures in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The role requires a relevant degree or equivalent hands-on experience, and is suited for candidates comfortable working in a cleanroom and training production personnel.

Qualifications

• Must Have: Associate's degree (AA/AS) in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
• Nice to Have: Minimum of one year of experience working in the semiconductor industry

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and adjust process equipment.
• Dispose of production lots that are out of control limits.
• Recover wafers from tool aborts.
• Create measurement recipes.
• Identify recurring problems and recommend changes to resolve them.
• Assist in identifying equipment malfunctions.
• Carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions.
• Evaluate procedures used by line operators and initiate action to resolve problems.
• Perform in-process control measurements and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in training production personnel.
