Wilsonart builds careers, not just surfaces. Our Wet End Operator plays a vital role in preparing decorative papers and overlays for the Melamine department’s night shift (5pm–5am). This position supports the full wet‑end production cycle and works closely with the checker, crew leader, and supervisor.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to the Melamine Department.
• Ability to understand and follow directions and work collaboratively with team members.
• Ability to identify patterns and finishes and to operate machinery safely.
• Computer literacy sufficient for Oracle WIP transactions.
• Trained to operate fork/clamp lift and Drexel lift.
• Able to read a tape measure and apply mathematical concepts to treater operations.
• Willing to train as backup checker.
Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, pushing, climbing, and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (50–100lbs).
Indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises, and bright lights.
