Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Senior LVN Supervisor for Westside Primary Care in Los Angeles. The role supervises clinical operations,ensures safe patient care, and supports staff education and quality monitoring under senior clinical leadership.

The position requires an active CA LVN license with IV therapy and blood withdrawal, CPR BLS, and at least 3 years LVN experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to coordinate care across physicians, nurses, and support staff.

Qualifications

• Active CA LVN license with IV Therapy and blood withdrawal certification.
• CPR BLS from ARC or AHA is required.
• 3+ years LVN experience required.
• Ability to take vital signs, administer meds, obtain refills.
• Recognize abnormal lab values and report to physician.
• Team leadership and effective communication in a clinical environment.
• Phlebotomy, CPR, injections within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinic operations under Practice Manager, Clinical Director and Lead MD.
• Provide safe, efficient direct patient nursing care per nursing standards.
• Support clinic workflows, quality monitoring, and staff education.
• Lead Ambulatory Nursing Team to maintain clinical standards.
• Use computerized patient care systems and maintain biohazard safety procedures.
