Western Region Sales Director
Confidential Remote Executive Sales Opportunity
Own the strategy, economics, leaders, and partner ecosystem for a major Western U.S. sales region.
A fast-growing national membership and services organization is confidentially looking for a senior regional sales role. Reporting to the Executive Suite (TBD), this executive will operate as the point person of the Western Region, leading a distributed organization and shaping how the business grows across field, partner, and integrated sales channels.
This is a true general-management sales role, not a traditional field director position. You will own a material regional P&L, lead 4+ District Managers and a broader specialist leadership team, influence approximately 40+ field sales professionals, and make high-level decisions about markets, partners, headcount, investments, and execution.
You are a strategic operator who has already led managers across multiple states and knows how to grow through other leaders. You understand channel and partner economics, can read a P&L as naturally as a sales dashboard, and are equally comfortable coaching leaders, challenging assumptions, reviewing investments, and presenting to executives.
This remote role must be based within the Western Region. Phoenix and Las Vegas are particularly attractive locations because of their market strength and partner activity, although other major Western metros will be considered. The Western Region includes Washington; Northern California, Oregon, and Idaho; Southern California; Northern Nevada, Northern Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado; and Southern Nevada, Southern Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. Oklahoma and Texas are outside this region.
Travel is approximately 40%, generally two weeks per month, and is strategic in nature: leadership meetings, key partner engagement, team development, headquarters visits, and industry events. Some evening and weekend availability is required. The field organization handles most day‑to‑day market activity.
Current planning anticipates a base salary around $200,000+ plus a variable incentive bonus. Final compensation will depend on experience, market, internal equity, and the approved compensation structure.
You will inherit meaningful scale while retaining room to shape the region. The role offers direct access to the Executive Suite, influence over enterprise sales strategy, and the mandate to build a durable leadership system across one of the country's most diverse and commercially important regions. The organization's mission supports people from all walks of life through education, training, membership services, and resources.
Qualified leaders are invited to begin a confidential conversation about fit, timing, organizational structure, and next steps.
