Job summary

McConway & Torley LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a West Yard Material Handler to expedite movement of raw and finished materials. You will pull and deliver materials to control the flow of goods and operate forklift and related equipment on site.

The role requires forklift experience, adherence to PPE requirements, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and flexibility to work any shift, with training on first shift. The environment includes plant and warehouse settings.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts.
• Must wear PPE including respirator or safety gear.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to operate forklift and control lifting movements.

Responsibilities

• Works in warehouse/outside environment to issue parts/supplies to internal customers.
• Operation of forklift, front loader and material handling equipment , and utilization of fall protection.
• Conduct Quality inspections and routine maintenance and operators checklists for equipment being utilized.
• De-gate rail road product and store, ship material as needed.
• Essential functions of this position include operating machinery, de-gating castings and delivering the castings and rigging to multiple departments.
