Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in West Virginia seeks locum tenens physicians to cover clinic and OR shifts in a small-town hospital. Expect inpatient/outpatient care with call coverage; schedule includes Mon/Wed surgery days and Tue/Thu clinics with 10-14 surgeries per week. EMR Epic used; onsite robotic resources available.

We offer paid malpractice, prepaid travel and housing, 24-hour consultant access, and support from a dedicated Weatherby consultant. Assignment details logged in online portal.

Qualifications

• Must be available for locum tenens assignments.
• Experience with both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Ability to cover OR and call duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgery coverage on Mondays and Wednesdays (10–14 surgeries per week).
• Clinic coverage on Tuesdays and Thursdays (25 patients per day).
• Partial Friday coverage (10–15 patients).
• Cover inpatient, OR, and call as needed.
• Coordinate with on-site support staff (1 midlevel, 1 LPN, 2 MAs).
