Job summary

Jackson Physician Search is guiding a rural healthcare organization in West Texas to hire an Internal Medicine physician to join a growing primary care team. The role offers a broad scope of practice with outpatient clinic duties, inpatient rounding, and nursing home care, alongside an established PCP and APP.

The position features a flexible schedule with 32-36 patient care hours weekly, light call, and strong earning potential with incentives and loan repayment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Employed Internal Medicine position combining outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and nursing home care responsibilities
• Join an established practice alongside another primary care physician and an experienced APP
• Manageable clinic volume of 10-12 patients per day with longer visits and relationship-driven medicine
• Flexible schedule with 32-36 patient care hours per week and a predictable daily workflow
• Light shared call with physicians caring for their own hospitalized patients and cross-coverage support
