Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lending experience
• Strong credit analysis and loan structuring skills; familiarity with SBA, USDA, and conventional loan products a plus
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills; community involvement is highly valued
• Self-starter with proven business development success and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred; relevant industry certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a commercial lending portfolio focused on small-to-medium enterprises, agriculture, and owner-occupied commercial real estate
• Originat e and structure credit facilities, prepare loan presentations, and ensure accurate and timely underwriting and documentation
• Build strong community relationships through proactive business development, networking, and participation in local events
• Monitor portfolio performance, ensure regulatory and bank policy compliance, and work with credit administration to manage risk
• Provide exceptional customer service — act as a trusted advisor to clients and identify cross-sell opportunities with other bank services
