Job summary

Symetra Financial Corporation is seeking a Regional Sales Associate to join the Stop Loss Sales team in the West Region. You will learn the group insurance business, support a profitable stop loss book, and collaborate with internal teams on cross-sell opportunities while traveling to field offices to build client relationships.

New hire classes typically begin in July, with flexible full-time or hybrid telecommuting options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, sales, marketing, and/or business-related field (required).
• Strong work ethic and desire to pursue a sales career.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• High integrity, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with ESL.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn about Excess Loss insurance products, distribution channels, brand and sales.
• Travel to field offices to learn business and build client relationships.
• Develop cross-sell opportunities within Symetra's Benefits Division.
