Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Principal Administrative Manager to lead the West region's administrative teams and operations from Pasadena or Phoenix area. This role partners with regional executives, develops standards, and drives performance across 18 offices in 10 states.

Hybrid-eligible work arrangement is available, with ~10% travel to other offices quarterly. Strong leadership, financial controls, and change management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• For the West region, requires senior administrative leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success leading distributed teams across multiple offices.
• Knowledge of financial controls and vendor management.
• Strong collaboration with HR, Talent Acquisition, and exec stakeholders.
• Ability to travel ~10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Establishes financial controls and optimizes admin workflows across 18 offices.
• Oversees 22 administrative professionals and regional operations.
• Leads vendor negotiations, contract management, and renewals.
• Partners with leadership to align regional priorities and SOPs.
• Represents admin function in leadership meetings and forums.
• Plans events, moves, and office improvements across the region.
