Job summary

The role focuses on identifying opportunities, managing the win cycle, coordinating with leadership, and mentoring staff, with 5-20% travel and preference for Pacific Northwest residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience; six+ years preferred.
• Experience in managing staff.
• At least three years of project management experience.
• Experience with budget/proposal development, business development, and client relationship management.
• Must reside in the Pacific Northwest (OR, WA, ID, AK, MT).

Responsibilities

• Establishes and strengthens client relationships and partnerships.
• Drives business development strategy by identifying market opportunities and setting priorities.
• Ensures sales targets and BD goals are met; accountable for performance.
• Identifies opportunities to bid on projects and coordinates pursuit activities.
• Develops teaming relationships with other firms and organizations.
• Leads internal staff and strategy meetings to align BD efforts and share market intel.
• Represents SWCA at industry events and outreach efforts.
• Mentors junior staff in client services best practices.
• Collaborates with technical and operations leaders to deliver integrated solutions.
