NextEra Energy is seeking an Associate Solar & Battery Field Engineer for the West Florida Region to join the Solar Operations Team. The role covers daily operation and maintenance of large-scale solar and battery facilities in Florida, with a focus on safety and environmental compliance.

Engineers will perform field troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance, and root cause analysis, often coordinating with OEMs, vendors and contractors; on-call duties may apply to West Florida

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Experience: 0+ years.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).

Responsibilities

• Completes assignments that have clear and specific objectives which require the investigation of limited number of variables
• Performs work involving conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with relatively few complex features for which there are few precedents
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
