The Farmington Public School District is looking for a Cafeteria Monitorfor West District Elementary School (Grades K-4).

The position is 3.0 hours per day, 10:45 AM - 1:45 PM, school year

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A. Candidate should hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.


2. B. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to communicate with students while maintaining order with large student groups.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The monitor provides a variety of monitoring activities to provide order in large student gatherings. This includes maintaining school discipline codes, attendance records for class periods assigned, controlling access from the outside and preparing student passes, as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain student order in assigned areas.


2. Prepare reports, as required


3. Demonstrate ability to communicate with students


4. Other related duties, as assigned
