Centellic's Law.com West Coast editor will lead California coverage, guiding reporters and shaping regional storytelling. You will set priorities, coordinate with Law.com teams, and oversee day-to-day regional operations.

This role emphasizes data-driven journalism, multimedia storytelling, and building relationships with law firms, judges, and the wider legal community across the West Coast.

Qualifications

• Strong news judgment with ability to set coverage priorities.
• Experience coaching reporters in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Ability to edit breaking news, analysis and enterprise journalism.
• Understanding of business of law and litigation coverage or willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Lead California and West Coast coverage with clear priorities.
• Manage and coach reporters, develop sources and ideas.
• Develop data-driven content leveraging Centellic data.
• Oversee regional content operations including newsletters and daily stories.
• Direct major editorial initiatives like awards and surveys.
• Represent Law.com in the regional legal community.
