Job summary

Helsinn Therapeutics (U.S.), Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison to partner with healthcare practitioners and researchers, delivering scientifically rigorous information and advancing medical strategies across dermatology and oncology products.

The role requires 5+ years in MSL or related settings, strong communication and presentation skills, cross-functional collaboration, and travel about 60% domestically with some international travel. A doctorate (PharmD/PhD/MD/PA/DNP) is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in an MSL role or related clinical/scientific practice setting.
• Experience in dermatology therapeutics and/or oncology preferred.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with healthcare practitioners or researchers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel ~60% domestically with some international travel; training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with thought leaders, healthcare practitioners and researchers.
• Engage in scientific dialogue with clinically relevant content.
• Provide effective clinical presentations and tailor approved presentations to meet audience needs.
• Provide on-label and reactive scientific information for medical inquiries and pharmacovigilance.
• Assess feasibility of investigator-initiated studies from inception to publication.
• Identify sites for company sponsored research and support investigators.
• Assist in planning and executing advisory boards and programs.
• Research, edit and write scientific communication and administrative reports.
• Attend and collect medical insights at congresses.
• Serve as scientific resource and educator to internal stakeholders.
• Develop and manage territory plans for Medical and Scientific Affairs strategy.
• Maintain in-depth scientific knowledge of disease states and Helsinn products.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with regulations.
