Job summary

Nectar in Palo Alto is seeking an Event & Community Manager to own our West Coast events, building the program from the ground up across the Bay Area and Los Angeles with full ownership of how it takes shape. You’ll design experiences that bring customers, prospects, and the industry together—dinners, roundtables, conferences—and grow Nectar’s community alongside the marketing team.

This role reports to marketing leadership, requires travel (20–30%), and supports pipeline, retention, and brand

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in B2B event marketing or community management at B2B SaaS
• Experience running end-to-end B2B field and executive events
• Fluency in event measurement and pipeline attribution (HubSpot or Salesforce)
• Experience growing online or in-person communities

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and execution for Nectar’s West Coast event calendar across SF and LA
• Run account-based event programs with sales and a follow-up plan for attendees
• Build a recurring event series to establish a consistent presence in each market
• Manage budgets, vendors, venues, and logistics for two markets
• Partner with sales and customer success to generate pipeline from events
• Track and report event ROI, pipeline influence, and attendee sentiment
• Represent Nectar at West Coast conferences and manage on-site logistics and sponsor deliverables
• Support launch and growth of Nectar’s customer/community program and content cadence
