Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a Head of West Coast Sales to establish regional strategy, build a high-performing team, and own revenue outcomes across priority verticals and agencies. This role focuses on senior-level relationships, pricing strategy, and closing high-impact deals for our ads business.

You will lead end-to-end deals, shape GTM, and drive a data-driven, scalable sales motion in a startup-like environment on the West Coast.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct digital ad sales experience with a track record of hunting, closing, and renewing.
• Proven success selling video and native formats to premium advertisers and agencies.
• Ability to engage senior decision makers and build collateral to support revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of ad tech and mobile app ecosystems and data-driven pricing.

Responsibilities

• Own West Coast revenue targets and forecasting with a healthy pipeline.
• Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategy, including pricing and packaging inputs.
• Hire, coach, and lead a small sales team and establish rhythms for forecasting and CRM hygiene.
• Build senior relationships with brands and agencies and close high-impact deals.
• Lead end-to-end deals from prospecting to renewal and expansion in collaboration with related teams.
• Provide market feedback to inform pricing, packaging, and product experiences.
