Job summary

Vote Solar is seeking a Campaign Communications Manager (West) to lead communications for regional campaigns across the western United States. You will coordinate multichannel strategies, work with program staff, and become an expert in digital and press tools within the first year.

The role is remote within the United States, with preference for candidates near active western states and some national travel.

Qualifications

Four to seven years of experience in communications, public affairs, advocacy, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
Experience developing and executing integrated communications campaigns for advocacy, policy, or nonprofit campaigns across traditional and digital media.
Strong writing, editing, and message development skills.
Ability to translate complex policy issues into compelling public-facing communications.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage high-quality communications materials across press releases, media statements, blog posts, digital content, talking points, messaging documents, social media content, email campaigns, and campaign toolkits.
Coordinate communications tactics across multiple channels to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaign execution.
Work closely with program and media staff to develop compelling campaign content and storytelling assets.
Monitor campaign communications performance and identify opportunities to strengthen impact.
