Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is hiring a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems in customers' homes. You will work on water heaters, piping, fixtures, and water treatment components, delivering clear explanations and trusted recommendations.

We value customer-focused communication, independent problem solving, and a clean driving record. A Journeyman/Master license is preferred, with 5+ years of residential plumbing experience and knowledge

Qualifications

• Active plumbing license preferred (Journeyman or Master).
• 5+ years of residential plumbing experience with service focus.
• Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently.
• Excellent customer communication and in-home service skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and standards.
• Willingness to present repair options to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems and fixtures

• Maintain accurate records in ServiceTitan, including materials used and time on-site
• Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with local plumbing codes and company policies

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems and fixtures
• Install water heaters, water treatment systems, fixtures, piping, and plumbing components

What You Need To Succeed

• Active plumbing license (Journeyman, Masters) preferred
• At least 5 years’ experience in residential plumbing, with a focus on service
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete plumbing repairs and installations
• Excellent customer communication and in-home service skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Confidence in presenting repair and upgrade options to customers
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently
• Familiarity with plumbing tools, systems, and local plumbing codes
• Professional, dependable, and accountable
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience with water treatment, well systems, Service Titan, or a performance-based service environment would all be considered a plus.
• We are looking for someone who is not only technically strong, but who also understands that customer experience and communication are a major part of being a successful service technician.
