Territory Sales - MN, ND - MN
Position Type: Full Time, Remote
Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 Base+Commission/year
Travel Percentage: Minimum of 50%
Jurisdiction: Minnesota and North Dakota
Responsibilities
- Managing territory through a CRM (Salesforce) program with timely and accurate updates.
- Planning and coordinating sales trips in the assigned territory to maximize sales results.
- Consulting with customers on best solutions and optimizing design strategies.
- Reviewing front‑end bid documents.
- Managing the selling process of identified territory projects and opportunities, effectively communicating internally and externally in a timely manner.
- Presenting the company product portfolio at established pricing and margins.
- Developing and executing territory KPI business plans to achieve company initiatives.
- Certifying, scheduling, and presenting company‑developed AIA‑accredited courses.
- Maintaining in‑depth knowledge of company products, processes, markets, competitors, buying influences, and customer needs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Pursuing new business development and achieving goals related to key or strategic product introductions and targeted promotions.
- Coordinating sales pursuit activity across internal company departments as required.
- Establishing, documenting, and maintaining a strong, well‑qualified database of contacts and opportunities.
- Liaising with Sales Management, Marketing, and other internal delivery partners to provide input and feedback regarding products, programs, and pricing.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; specific industry experience or skill sets will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Documented track record of successful selling.
- Competitive, self‑starter with demonstrated ability to independently plan and implement an assigned territory sales strategy.
- Proficient in working productively and comfortably from a home office.
- Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all types of people and situations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM; Salesforce is preferred.
- Proven ability to present in front of groups.
