Qualifications

• Proven geology experience with groundwater, soil sampling, and environmental studies.
• Hands-on experience with Petra; proficiency in ArcGIS and GIS platforms.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets using MATLAB or Python for analysis automation.
• Knowledge of environmental law, Hazmat handling procedures, and environmental remediation project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geological and hydrogeological assessments through field research, soil sampling, and groundwater monitoring.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret geological data using Petra, ArcGIS, GIS platforms, and groundwater modeling techniques.
• Monitor drilling operations in real-time to provide geological guidance and data accuracy during mudlogging.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports documenting geological findings, environmental compliance status, and recommendations.
• Utilize AutoCAD for geological modeling and site layout planning; employ Python and MATLAB for data analysis and automation tasks.
• Ensure adherence to environmental laws, Hazmat regulations, and safety standards throughout all field activities.
• Support environmental remediation projects by managing project documentation, assisting with hydrogeological assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site investigations involving soil sampling, mechanical knowledge application, and environmental impact assessments.
• Maintain meticulous records of all data collection activities.
• Participate in project management efforts by coordinating field research schedules, resource allocation, and reporting deadlines.

• Familiarity with ground water modeling techniques and hydrogeological assessment methodologies.
• Strong technical writing skills for preparing detailed reports; experience with environmental compliance documentation is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to drilling equipment or construction activities is advantageous.
