Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis seeks a Part-Time Program Coordinator in Fishers, IN to administer program areas—Sports, Wellness, Group X, or Personal Training—and assist in supervising staff. The role supports safe, high-quality programming for members and participants.

Responsibilities include improving enrollment and retention, staying current with industry trends, and promoting volunteerism while supporting the Invest-In-Youth campaign and staff trainings.

Qualifications

• First Responder designation for emergencies or accidents/incidents.
• Ability to maintain equipment cleanliness and notify repairs.
• Ability to provide a safe environment for participants, volunteers, and staff.
• Ability to promote volunteerism among members and participants.
• Participation in Invest-In-Youth annual campaign.
• Attendance at staff meetings and Wellness Program trainings.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Administers assigned program areas (Sports, Wellness programs, Group X, or Personal Training) and may assist in supervising staff.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff to support program quality.
• Focus on enrollment, retention, and staying current with trends in the field.
