Job summary

Esplanade at Madeira Ranch in Elk Grove, CA, seeks a Wellness & Sports Manager to oversee the daily operations of The Venue/Lodge, Resort Pool, and wellness programming, delivering a hospitality-driven wellness experience focused on member satisfaction and participation.

The role leads wellness, spa, pool, and sports programming, manages vendor relationships, and ensures policies and procedures align with the Esplanade lifestyle while driving financial performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR/AED and First Aid required.
• Personal Training certification (CPT) required or in progress; strong leadership experience.
• 2–3 years of experience leading a team in a private, member-owned club.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proven leadership, management, and guest-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of The Venue/Lodge, Resort Pool, and Sports programming.
• Develop, execute, and evolve wellness programming to drive participation and satisfaction.
• Lead vendor and independent contractor relationships; enforce policies and standards.
• Manage budgets for wellness programming and sport activities.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and maintain equipment and facilities.
• Greet members and guests, resolve issues, and maintain high service levels.
