Job summary

Integrated Health 21 is seeking skilled phlebotomists for on-site biometric screening events in the San Francisco area. This 1099 contractor role offers flexible, on-demand work with early morning or daytime events on weekdays.

Responsibilities include greeting participants, collecting height/weight, resting BP, fingerstick and venipuncture as needed, and documenting results. CPR/BLS and phlebotomy credentials are required or as state regs dictate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
• PrevBiometric screening experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS Certification required or as state requires
• Current phlebotomy/medical certification preferred or as required by state regulations
• Experience obtaining anthropometric measurements (BP, height, weight, BMI)
• Proficiency in venipuncture and/or fingerstick draws per infection control standards

Responsibilities

• Welcome participants and guide through screening process
• Obtain height and weight measurements
• Measure resting blood pressure with manual cuff
• Perform fingerstick blood collection with Cholestech/CardioChek equipment
• Assess lipid panel and glucose results
• Perform venipuncture blood draws when required
• Document screening data on forms or tablets
• Complete basic data entry in electronic systems
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting
• Support setup, breakdown, and transport of screening equipment
• Assist with medical emergencies including CPR as needed
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• Perform additional screening duties as trained
