Goodwill NYNJ is seeking a Peer Specialist to provide psychosocial rehabilitation services in an accredited clubhouse setting. You will support members in identifying recovery goals, facilitate WHAM and WRAP groups, and help with daily clubhouse tasks while safeguarding privacy.

Strong interpersonal skills and lived experience with mental health recovery are highly valued. This role requires flexibility, weekend work, and occasional training travel.

Competenze

• Lived experience with mental health recovery is highly valued.
• Education: high school diploma required; associate's degree preferred; bachelor's degree a plus.
• Knowledge of WHAM and WRAP facilitation is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to document accurately.
• Ability to travel for two weeks of clubhouse training if required.

Mansioni

• Assist members in identifying and achieving recovery goals through peer support and WHAM/WRAP groups.
• Oversee clubhouse activities, including meal planning, intake, employment, and cleanliness.
• Engage with members and lead daily meetings and unit tasks.
• Maintain member records and ensure privacy in electronic health files.
• Connect members to community resources for housing, employment, benefits, and treatment.
• Provide outreach and promote empowerment and participation.
• Collaborate with staff to develop clubhouse policies and curricula.
• Deliver social and recreational activities to build skills and community.
