Goddard Riverside Community Center in Manhattan is seeking a Clubhouse Generalist/Peer Specialist to manage member engagement and recovery-focused supports within the Other Place clubhouse.

You will work with staff to assist members in employment, education, advocacy, and wellness goals, following a work ordered day and community activities. Strong WRAP knowledge and peer support experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Specialist with one year of experience working individuals with severe mental illness and substance use disorders.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Food Handler’s Certificate a plus.

Responsabilités

• Carry a caseload of 25-30 adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
• Maintain caseload records with documentation of services provided.
• Complete case notes and service plans using an electronic database.
• Prepare timely internal and external reports.
• Collaborate with treatment, housing, education, and vocational providers.
• Participate in clubhouse operations and activities.
• Assist in developing transitional employment opportunities for members.
• Organize and engage members in work ordered day and social activities.
• Facilitate workshops/meetings and support program improvements.
• Attend training and supervision meetings.
• Support outreach and remote service provision as needed.
