Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a wellness program professional to design, implement, and evaluate community health initiatives across Lackawanna and Luzerne counties. The role includes collaboration with facilities, marketing, IT and health services to promote wellness activities and drive positive outcomes.

The position involves on-site education, occasional early mornings and evenings, and active participation in regional programs and commmunity events to support employee health goals.

Responsibilities

• Develops and designs programs with facilities ensuring training, reporting and documentation compliance.
• Supports regional teams, operations, new program design and implementation of new products and services.
• Develops tools to evaluate wellness program effectiveness and manage outcomes.
• Reports program participation and outcomes quarterly to stakeholders.
• Prepares and presents educational information aligned with the wellness program's mission and objectives.
• Provides on-site screening support and education as needed.
• Supports on-site programs, biometric screenings and phlebotomy support as appropriate.
• Represents the facility at business and community events or coordinates events on-site.
• Oversees member communication and outreach initiatives within the wellness program.
• Supports regionally based teams and employers across the coverage area.
