Job summary

Manchester Community College is seeking a Wellness Programming Coordinator to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive campus wellness program through the Fitness Center. The role reports to the Director of Student Life and involves teaching classes and promoting wellness across the campus.

The position requires an Associate’s degree in exercise science/physical education, two years of related experience, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in exercise science/physical education or related field.
• Experience: Two (2) years in exercise science or related field with program information responsibilities.
• License/Certification: CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
• Preferred: Ability to teach group exercise.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate the campus-wide wellness/fitness program.
• Promote wellness offerings to students, staff, and faculty; evaluate needs and program success.
• Develop community partnerships to enhance wellness experiences on campus.
• Co-advise the MCC Health Fitness club and assist Wellness Advisory Council initiatives.
• Represent the Fitness Center at campus events and monitor facility use for safety.
