Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University seeks a Coordinator, Health Promotion Initiatives to design, implement, and promote prevention and wellness programs for students. Ideal candidates will bring experience in health education, program planning, and training Peer Educators, with a strong focus on evidence-informed practices and campus-wide

Qualifications

• Six years of directly related full-time experience or a Bachelor's degree with two years related to the job functions.
• Professional experience with student mental health, student development, health promotion, or related field.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, implements, and presents health education programming and outreach against wellness goals.
• Applies health education expertise to design, develop, implement, and evaluate curricula grounded in evidence-informed practices.
• Develops and delivers formal training for Peer Educators and Prevention & Wellness staff.
• Oversees events and curriculum to meet learning outcomes and engage students.
• Coordinates wellbeing initiatives and tracks program data to drive improvements.
